PETERS DEFEATS GILDO
SYDNEY, -22nd June.
Johnny Peters (tho English bantamweight) outpointed the Fillipino Gildo at the Stadium. A large crowd disagreed with tho verdict, thinking a draw should havo been given.
The fight was willing throughout, Gildo's fierceness taxing the Englishman's ringcraft to the fullest extent.
