WEDDINGS
The wedding took place recently at the Methodist Church, Lower Hutt, of Violet May, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Barber, and Leonard, sou of the late Mr. and Mrs. .Moran, of Tasmania. The bride woro white crepo do chinewith ilarod panels of laco and long laco sleeves. Her veil, arranged, with a coronet of orange blossoms and silver leaves, was of embroidered net, and she carried a white bouquet. The bridesmaid, Miss Joyce Smith, wore pale blue marietta with georgette frills, anct 'the two small flower girls, Elva Barber and Joan Barber, wore frocks, of. apricot evepe do chine and Dutch caps to match. Mr. Horace A. Barber was best man. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. H. Sharp, and Mr. Swift was at the organ. Afterwards a reception was held in the Methodist Schoolroom, Mrs. Barber receiving her guests in a frock of navy crepe de chine with fawn collar and a navy felt hat. When Mr. and Mrs. Moran loft for Wanganui, their future home, tho bride wore- a jumper suit of princess blue chenille, with, hat to match and a fox fur.
