MISSING LAUNCH FOUND

After hearing the broadcast an-1 uouncement from Station 2YA that a launch had been taken from Island j Bay, Wellington, residents on D 'Urville i Island who were listening-in reported to tho Postmaster at French Pass that | a launch answering to the description i of tho wireless message had been seen: sheltering in Greville Harbour,! D'Urville Island. The police were communicated with and' Constable Hardy set off from Havelock in a fast launch, which arrived at Greville Harbour at 11 o'clock! on Sunday morning. The launch^ turned out to be the nriasing Sicila, which was i removed from her moorings at Island Bay last Thursday. The man in charge] of tho boat was arrested. " Constable: Hardy piloted the launch to Nelson,1 arriving at 7 o'clock last evening. The launch taken from Island Bay belongs to Guiseppe Lanacchia, fisherman, and I is valued at £1200.
