The police have conscripted all Government officials as special constable* and armed them withwaddies in order , to resist the activities of turbulent unemployed, and bank officials have been ordered' to remain within the banks and use their firearms if necessary. Communists) hoisted a red flag above tho tent where a majority of the men were quartered in Liberty Square.
