ALL SAINTS
The annual meeting of parishioners of All Saints' Church, Kilbirnie, was held last night, the vicar, the Rev. Canon ..I. 11. Sykes, presiding. The annual report and "balance-sheet were adopted on the motion of.Mr. H. A. Huggins, who remarked that he-had been connected with the church for,forty years, and this year's report was the best the parish had ever had. > : Mr. Cox explained the duplex envelope system of finance, which the retiring vestry had unanimously decided to adopt, and answered several questions.The vicar gave a short review of the year's work, and said what a pleasure it was to preside at the annual meeting for the fifteenth time. ... The election of officers .for the ensuing year resulted:—Vicar's warden, Mr. 0. 1. Cox; parishioners' warden, Mr; H^ >\- Tilcher, re-elected; vestry, Messrs. (j. 1. Taplin, F. H. Porter, A. K. Sharp, h. {>. Rynd, P. B. Richards, A. K. Birch, h. B. Jones, G. H. Tanner, W. Denby, . and Montgomery; hon. auditor, Mr. J. L,. Mr. P. Warren addressed the meeting on the splendid work being done throughout the Dominion by the Bible Class Union.
