It was suggested as a means of i raising ■ funds a levy might be made on !;all cases of local fruit sold in Auckland,. It was proposed that half the levy shonld be borne by the growers and a quart er by the retailers and auctioneers respect? ively. A committee of retailers, growers, a.nd brokers was set up. )
