•jj.t a recent meeting of representatives of '.Auckland fruitgrowers and retailers, and" the Auckland Fruit and Produce Auction eers' Association, it was resolved that an ! advertising fund and campaign be inaugurated. It was suggested as a means of i raising ■ funds a levy might be made on !;all cases of local fruit sold in Auckland,. It was proposed that half the levy shonld be borne by the growers and a quart er by the retailers and auctioneers respect? ively. A committee of retailers, growers, a.nd brokers was set up. )
