CATTLE LET LOOSE
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBOENE, This Day. About 1000 cattle escaped from tho Matawhoro saleyards last night. Yesterday was the second day of the autumn cattle fair, and over 3000 head were in the yards when tho gates were chained and wired for tho night. The main gate was opened presumably by a vandal, allowing cattle valued" at between £5000 and £6000 to scatter over the countryside.
