AN ALLEGED FRAUD
' MOTOR-CAR PURCHASE' '(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. On a charge of obtaining a motorcar by fraud, a commission agent, Thomas Bishop, aged 55, of Wellington, was committed to the Supremo Court for trial by Mr. Mosley, S.M. to-day. He pleaded not guilty to a charge of obtaining on 29th January a motor-car valued at £80 from George William Tench by a valueless cheque for £80 drawn on the Bank of New South Wales at Nelson.
