A statement issued by the India Office reveals that during the Peshawar disturbances the conduct o£ ; two platoons of the 2/13 Royal Garhwal Rifles was unsatisfactory. The battalion was accordingly transferred to Abbottabad, where an inquiry is being held. ■~'■■'
