M'CONACHY BEATS LINDRUM

The New', Zealander, Clark M'Conaehy, •ucceeded in defeating Lindrum in the finish of a closely-contested fort-

night's match,

On Friday the scores were: Lindrum. ■22,655, including 1013; M'Conachy, 21,470, including 464 and 683.

M'Conachy 'began the last session on Saturday with a deficiency of 219, but a brilliant break of 416, following smaller items, put him on the road to victory. Lindrum in the last fifteen minutes made a plucky effort, taking many risks, in a vain attempt to snatch the game and match from tho fire.
