TO-DAY'S CARNIVAL/

There was a good attendance at the Wellington Swimming Club's Carnival at Te Aro Baths this afternoon, ana the result of the 50yds centre championship was eagerly awaited.

Teams from Wellington, Maranui, Lyall Bay, and Hutt Valley promised to make "the Walker and Hall Flying Squadron an interesting race, while the diving championship, and other events, provided the spectators with plenty of interest.•" The weather, after a doubtful morning, was kind, and the conditions generally favourable.
