FURTHER TROUBLE AHEAD

(Received 22nd February, 11 a.m.) . PEKIN, 21st February. The Chinese papers hero to-day, state that Feng Yu-Hsiang's generals havo issued a telegram supporting Yea HsiShan and denouncing Chiang Kai-Shek, whose autocratic methods they severely condemn. Chiang's policy, of unification by force, the telegram says, • amis merely^ at the expansion .of his own military power at tho expense of tho other militarists whom ho wishes to exterminate. The signatories, with a view, of securing real peace, support the stand taken by Yen Hsi-Shan, expressing their readiness to back him witli armed force.
