MESSAGE TO i BYRD
The following message was sent by the Primo Minister (the Right Hon. Sir Joseph Ward) to Admiral Byrd, on board tho City of New York:
"On behalf of the Government and people of New Zealand I wish to express our real pleasure at tho safe departure from Antarctica of yourself and the members of your expedition, and our keen anticipation of receiving you again in tliis Dominion."
