PETONE FREE KINDERGARTEN.
The:resignation of Mrs. M'Gavin, secietary,.was.received with regret at v meetiijg of thti tioinraittee of the Petone Fi-ee Kindergarten. The committee recorded its appreciation,of, the capable way.iv which the duties of. secretary, had been carried out, and expressed the hope that Mrs. M'Gaviu would be able to join the branch again. It_ was reported that the. attendance had increased with the new year, and anyone visiting:-the kindergarten • would ccc 'a very happy band of children numbering 44. Now that the grant from tho Eduuation .Department: haß been received; the committee-looks forward to •haying-it's own building ih the near future: :
