UNVEILED AT PAEROA \

PAEEOA, 20th February.

The impressive- ceremony of unveEing; a soldiers' memorial cenotaph took place at. Paeroa this morning, before a large gathering, including all>-ranks of the First Battalion Hauiraki Eegiment. ■Before performing the unveiling, Man'birGeneral Toung,: G-.Q.C, paid a '.tribute to the New Zealand soldier, than whom, he said, no braver existed. .The dedication of the memorial by Archbishop ' Avcrill followed, and the ceremony was. brought to a closo with an aerial salute by Squadron-Leader Isitt and Major G. A. C. Cowper.
