Following are the results, up to the time of going to press, of to-day's play in the Wellington Croquet Association's tournament at Lower Hutt:—
Handicap Singles.—First section, first round: Mrs. M'Girr beat Miss Wilkins, 26-11; Mrs. Spence won by default from. Miss Saunders. Second section, first round: Mrs. Passmore beat Mr. Laurie, 26-11; Mrs. Collier beat Mrs. Wise, 26- ---; 17. ~-■■','■ Ladies? Level Singles.—Mrs. Jackson beat Mrs.'Pope, .26-24- Mrs.. Andrews beat Mrs. Gooder, 26-20; Mrs. Allan beat Mrs. Heenan, 26-21. • Handicap Doubles.—Mesdames Oaldow and Howatson (11) beat Mesdames Yates and Henry (12), 26-6. Ladies' Championship.—First round:' Mrs. Johnson beat Mrs. Warner, 26-4.
