SAVIDAN" FOR BIG RACE
J.1 W. Savidan, the New Zealand champion distance runnel', is at present in Wellington, and is'to remain here for the meeting at which ..Leo Lermond
(America) and B.: A. Rose will be taking part on the Ist March. The presence of the Audklander will give even greater importance to the' one mile event to be staged at that meeting. Savidan is to compete in the one and three-mile events at the Wellington championship meeting to-morrow, but in the event of winning he will not take the titles. His main object is to improve his'form for the race with Lermond and Rose.
