Despite Burnan's continued protests as to the friendly nature of his relationswith Toulson, the Magistrate fined each of them 10s, in default three days' imprisonment.

One first offender was convicted and discharged and Richard Johns, a labom--er, aged 54, was fined 10s, in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment for his second offence of ; dfunlcenncss.
