SYDNEY, This Day

Mr. L. T. M'lnne's, Director of Dairying for the State of New South Wales, estimates the increase in butter production for. the past four years in New South Wales at 9000 tons, while over £4,000,000 would be added to the national income of Australia this year through export of butter.

The average return to the dairy farmer was,ls Gd per lb for the whole year round. Mr. Al'innes said the cost of herd; recording was 2s per cow, which had more than justified itself. ,
