Winds.—Southerly winds, light to moderate I mainly, but still fresh to strong about East Cape and In North Auckland; veering to west and north-west later In the far South. Barometer.—Little movement. ' Seas.—Still rough north of Farewell -Spit and Akaroa, but moderating, especially on the West Coast; smooth to moderate elsewhere. Tides. —Good north of Kaikoura; poor south of Cape Egmont; elsewhere moderate. Weather.—Mainly fine generally and becoming warmer, but still a few scattered showers between Castlcpolnt and East Cape.
