EMBARGO ON PARROTS?

Five deaths from psittacosis in a fortnight include Mrs. Bogers, of Barking, whose .son' and daughter previously] succumbed; another s&n is in the hospital. The Bogers family bought a parrot in January, which has since died. Mr. Heaton, a town councillor of Wimbledon,, and the owner of eight parrots, died under strong suspicion that he was suffering from the disease. The Ministry of Health is investigating the illness of four domestics at a Mayfair service flat occupied by au actress whose parrot died. The Ministry is considering an embargo on the importation of parrots from South America.
