FIRST SUCCESSFUL TEST

SYDNEY, 16th February.

The first Australian-built gliunr has been successfully tried out near Parramatta. The machine was piloted by ,Mr. Jack Lyons, a member .of tlie New South "Wales Aero Club. It reached an altitude of 100 feet and covered 500 yards, but the weather was hardly suitable for gliding.
