ATTACKS ON KING
United Press Association—By Electric Teleerapli—Copyright. MADRID, 15th February. Police have been in conflict with the unemployed, many of whom were wounded and arrested. The political and industrial situation throughout Spain is most confused. Tho Republican leader, Senor Lerroux, and the Liberal leader Senor U laniuno, are violently and . abusively attacking King Alfonso. The public are becoming enlightened regarding extravagance and maladministration of the Dictatorship, which is contributing to the criticism of the King. Unemployment is increasing owing to cessation of De Rivera's public works programme. A mob at Barcelona sacked tho headquarters of tho Patriotic Union, which supported the Dictatorship. Reinforcements of gendarmes repeatedly charged and dispersed the rioters. King Alfonso, accompanied by the Diplomatic Corps, left Madrid by special train for Eiofrio on a hunting ex-
petition. *" King Alfonso has'issued a decree dissolving the National Assembly farmed by De Eivera.
