CANTERBURY V. SOUTH CANTERBURY

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ' CHRISTCHURCH, 16th February.

The annual intcrprovincial tennis match'j Canterbury v. South Canterbury,; was played yesterday. Canterbury won all but three matches. Miss Wake wag beaten by Mrs. W. A. Scott, and Mrs, Miles by Miss M. Gibson. The other loss was in the combined doubles, Mrs. B. Miles and D: P. Glanville losing to Miss D. Harp and D. C. Johnston. The most interesting match was that between C. : Angas and W. G. Rob'ertson, .junior champion of New Zealand. -Angas wonj with the loss of only three games.
