KHANDALLAH CLUB
The Khandallah Amateur Swimming and Life-saving Club held its first, carnival of the season at the Khandallah Baths on Saturday. In spite of the weather there was quite a large attendance of spectators and competitors. Much of the .mccess of tlie carnival was due to the able manner in which Mr. Lockie carried out his duties as starter, and as ■judge of the diving. Solid work.was also done by the president, Mr. Murray, the various vice-presidents who assisted as judges, the committee, and Mr. Gully, who carried out the clerical work of the :day.
