MOTOR-CYCLING
AN OFFER FROM ENGLAND There is every prospect of New Zealand being represented in the motorcycling tourist trophy raeea, to be held at the Isle of Man about the middle of June. According to cabled advico received by the New Zealand Auto-Cycle Union, the English Auto-Cycle Union is willing to pay the return passage of a New Zealand motor-cyclist and his machine if the controlling bpdy hero is eager to send a representative. The matter has evidently received favourable consideration, as the N.Z.A.C.U. secretary is now ascertaining from registered riders whether they are available to make the trip. In the event of a. number being available, it is likely that a trial race meeting will be held with a view, to selecting the New Zealand representative, . whose only expense on tho trip will be his board in the Old Country. Riders who are availablo to make tho trip are to send their names to tho secretary of tho A.C.U. at Marton by next Friday.
