SWIMMING IN TARANAKI . (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAWERA, This Day. The advance being made in the sport of swimming in Taranaki was demonstrated yesterday afternoon and evening when eight of the centre records were broken at the annual championships. The .new records were set in fresh water baths, though the times eclipsed were, with the exception of the junior boys' 50 yards, made in salt water.
