A first offender for .drunkenness, who did not appear, was fined the amount of his bail, 10s. For his second offence'of drunkenness within six months, Robert Andrew Gibson, aged fifty, had his bail of £1 estreated.
Frederick Adrian Eenen pleaded guilty to a charge of having been found in a state of helpless drunkenness at Otaki bemor-Sergeant Ward said that when arrested on 18th December, Kenen's condition was very bad, and he had to be re-' manded for medical treatment. Eenen was convicted and was ordered to pay expenses, £1 15s, in default seven days' imprisonment.
A first offender, who had been given medical attention, was convicted and ordered to pay expenses, £2 Bs, in default seven daj's' imprisonment.
