Miss Phyllis Knoot, who, at 24, claims to be England's most daring girl, is looking for new worlds to conquer. She has in the course of twelve months done steeplejack's work on a tall chimney, looped the loop twice on her second solo flight, tackled a mad dog to save a child from being bitten, put a burglar to flight, > and. dressed as a man, spent a night in a brigands' camp in Corsica. Her objective now is to make a long-distance flight in a balloon.
