UNFOUNDED REPORT
(By Telegraph.) (From "The Post's" Representative.)
BUNEBIN,. This Day. Some months ago a private message to Dunedin from Australia reported the death in America of Mr. Philip Newbury, formerly of this city, a wellknown tenor. No confirmatory advice, however, was received by his relatives here, and now Mr. Maxwell Newbury, a brother, is in receipt of word through a letter received by a friend that Philip is still in the land of the living. He was very ill in New York some time ago, but at latest advices was about to send word to Australia that he has recovered and is about again.
