There was a serious riot at Moulin Eouge cinema theatre to-night when the audience, objecting to the use of English in a "talkie," made a mass attack on the box office and demanded the return of their money. Police arrived and sent the people back to their seats in the hopo that tho film would be changed. When this was not clone the disturbance was renewed, the police eventually clearing the hall. It is stated that the outbreak was fomented by musicians who have been thrown idle by foreign infringements.
