Dividend on ordinary shares is increased from 10 to 11 per cent., and requires £894,790. Preference dividend of 6 per cent, absorbs £96,507, and 'with £7658 brought forward there is carried i"«rffiasd-;-£27 x 668. - - The. profits, .da. not. ,in-_ elude tEe company's' interests in the' undivided profits of the subsidiary companies. Balance-sheet figures show little variation. Debtors have increased'by £19,178, and cash is higher by £1018.
