SPEEDWAY RACING

MANGHAM v. KILMISTEE.

In view of the fact that W. Kilmister broke the record at the Kilbirnie Stadium Speedway last Saturday night, there will be particular interest in his contests with Harry Mangham next Saturday night. Arrangements have been made for Maugham to come to Wellington for this meeting, and he will appear in special match races with Kilmister. In Australia last season Mangham went close to equalling the world's record, and on the improved track at the Kilbirnio Stadium it is expected that he will make very fast time next Saturday. The contests between these two fine riders should be easily the best to date, and with many other events to be decided the meeting promises to exceed any previously staged here. One of the other races will be the final of the Silver Gauntlet. All the leading riders will be seen in a first division race.
