The progress of the Italian steamer Leonardo da Vinci, which is now believed to bo in the Bay ol! Biscay with her £14,000,000 cargo of art treasures, which are being brought to England for next month's exhibition of.ltalian art in London, is being watched with some- anxiety owing to the heavy gales. When she arrives at London, sho will be piloted to .her berth, where Lady Chamberlain, chairman of the Exhibition Committee, with Sir Austen Chamberlain and others, including probably Mr. Arthur Henderson, Foreign Secretary, will extend greetings to Signor Modigliani, Commissioner-General 'for Italy to the Exhibition, who is on board.
