OLD NAVALS CLUB
At Trentham on Saturday the Old Navals Club fired the third shoot for the Kabe Cup and the second series over ranges 300 and 600 yards.
The weather conditions were the most difficult yet experienced this season, and as a result the scoring was not of a high order. At COO yards the trickiness of the wind caused anxiety as to the fate o£ many a shot, and at this range only one roan broke 40—M'Gill, with 43. At 300 yards M'Mamis 47 and Carter 45 were the best. The bnst sun scores for the day were Carter 82, Henderson 80, Hugo 80, and M'Manus 80. The scores are as follow:— 300 600 yds. yds. Hp. Tl. Carter 45 37 4 86 Henderson 42 3S 5 So 11. On Saturday next the dub will fire their second, 'shoot for the' championship and Hodder Cup over ranges 300, 500, and GOO yards.
