WORK ON- PAKIHI LAND

Yesterday afternoon a gathering of nearly 100 attended a demonstration by the Cawthorn Institute on tho experimental plot at Fairdown.

Tho work being done was explained by Professor Easterfield and Mr. Eigg. Former Pakihi land is now carrying a good growth of mixed grasses and flax, and the results are regarded as most promising.
