The French police are inaugurating a remarkable ■wireless system with the object of keeping the Paris headquarters

in rapid communication with the provinces by wireless from the Eiffel Tower, which will be able to transmit descriptions of wanted criminals in code; also photographs of finger prints by tho wireless telephoto system. Fiftyone receiving stations are being established in the provinces in addition to important stations at the ports and the frontier.
