A notice of motion was given at Thursday night's meeting of the Wellington Trades and Labour Council and the District Federation of Labour, protesting against the sentence passed by Mr. Page, S.M., upon four meciberss of the working class for having in their possession allegedly -seditious ' literature. This matter will receive consideration at the next meeting of the council.
