SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.
The varied items given at Mrs. J Ritchie's concert for seafarers at the Sailors' Jmend Society last night were thoroughly enjoyed by the guests, and led to rousing applause and encores. The performers were Mesdames J. Ritchie and D G Williams, Misses B. Luke, J. Williams, M. Luke, J. Rosenberg, and Messrs. P. Newmau, L. Anderson, Everett, Ridier, and Smith. Mrs. Ritchie and Miss Williams were at the piano. Light refreshments were provided by Mrs. L. Nelson. The competitions were a great success. The prizes came from Marton, and went to the Port Hardy, Mahia, and Eangitiki,
