ATHLETIC TOURS
DR. PELTZER IN VIEW
The council of the New Zealand AmateurAthletic Association last evening decided to write to the Victorian Association with a view to finding out upon what terms a tour of New Zealand could be made of G. M. Peltzer or any other athletes visiting Australia this season. HARRIER CLUBS. The activities regarding harrier clubs lias been considered by the Canterbury Centre,,iNt.Z.A.A.A., when it was decided to inform the N.Z.A.A.A. that Canterbury consider, the matter purely a domestic one iorleach centre to deal with. ■ Canterbury's letter to the N ZAU continues: "We have no rule on the"subIfy"' the practice here isf to do what the Wellington Centre is advocating Thbse members of harrier clubs who take part ill track events are also members of track clubs. We, however, do not think it desirable that the club should pass a. rule making it necessary for every centra to use of. that system." The council last night decided to conRider the matter at its next meeting when ail replies will have been received.
