NOON MEETINGS
Mr. Walter Nash, Labour candidate for Hutt, addressed a meeting of workers at the Gear Meat Works yesterday at noon. Mr. Baker, president of the Freezing Workers' Union, presided and there was a good attendance. Mr. Nash dealt with various industrial matters, especially workers' compensation. A unanimous and enthusiastic vote of thanks" and confidence was passed. To-day at the lunch hour Mr. Nash and Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P., addressed the workers at the Wellington Woollen Mills, Petone.
