MEETINGS TO COME
To-night, Mr. James Kerr, the United candidate, will address a meeting in the Schoolhouse, Koro Koro, at 8 o'clock. To-morrow, Mr. Kerr will speak in the Methodist Hall, Waiwetu. Following this, he will givo addresses as follows: Moera Hall, 6th December; Blaekbridge, Knox Church Hall, 7th December; Alicetown Churcli Hall, 9th December; Petoue, Grand Theatre, 10th December. On 10th December, at the King George Theatre, Lower Hutt, the Hon. E. A. Eansom, Minister of Public Works, will speak. Mr. Walter Nash, the Labour candidate, will speak in the Community Hall, Moera, to-night at S o'clock. Among other matters, Mr. Nash undertakes to refute tlio statement made last evening by Mr. Kerr at Lower Hutt, in reference to the Lower Hutt and Petone Gas Lighting Bill, and to sheet home the responsibility for the Bill being dropped to the opposition of certain United Party members and the Government, Mr. Nash will bo accompanied at to-night's meeting by several Labour members of Parliament, two of whom, Messrs. W: J. Jordan and H. G. B. Mason, will also speak. To-"morrow evening Mr. Nash will speak in the School, Koro Koro, and at noon will address a meeting at the Motor Works of Messrs. Munt, Cottrell, Neilson, and Co. To-morrow afternoon a meeting of women electors will be held in the house of Mrs. Logic, Trafalgar street. All women electors in the Woburn and Waiwotu districts are invited to attend. Mr. Nash will be accompanied by Mis. Nash and Mr. W. J. Jordan, ALP. On Friday, at noon, Mr. Nash will speak at the Bailway Workshops. On Friday evening open-air meetings will be held in Petone, Lower Hutt, and Moera. Among the speakers will be Messrs. D G. Sullivan, M.P.; E. Semple, M.P.; H. G. E. Mason, M.P.; W. Lee Martin M.P.; B. M'Keen, M.P.; C. 11. Chapman, M.P.; J. Thorn, W. Bromley, T. Brindle. On Monday evening" next, 9th December, Mr. Nash will speak in the Pavilion, Day 'a Bay. Mr. D. JR.. Hoggard, chairman of the Hutt County Council, will preside.
To-night Mr. Joluiston will address a public meeting at the Congregational Church Hall, Alicetown, and to-morrow at 8 p.m., at the Hall, Mocra. He will address employees of General Motors at noon to-morrow. All ladies of Eastbourne are invited to attend a meeting to bo held at the Council Chambers on Friday, at 2.30 p.m., when Mrs. Harold Johnston will address the gathering.
