FLYING VISIT

(By Telegraph.) (Speetal to "The Evening Port.") AUCKLAND, This Day. The party of Californian business men who arrived at Auckland by the Matson liner Malolo on Sunday were busily engaged yesterday in travelling and sightseeing in the interior of the province, with the exception of a few who remained in the city. A second party left early yesterday morning for Rotorua, and will visit the six lakes district. The first party, which left for Rotorua on Sunday morning visited the lakes yesterday, and returned to Auckland last night. The Minister of Industries and Commerce (Hon. J. G. Cobbe) gave an informal dinner at the Grand Hotel last evening to representative members of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. He will be present at the luncheon to-be given on the Malolo.
