HAUTERE RIFLE CLUB

The Hautere Rifle Club's shoot on Saturday at 300 and 600 yards took place under trying weather conditions, a stiff wind and showers combining to upset calculations. The scores at 300 yards counted for Mr. R. Hagan scn/s trophy, and the Cook Cup, Deputy-President Thomson doing well with 40 and E. Taylor making 43. At GOO yards the scores counted for the Vickers Cup, completing the first round over ranges GOO, 800, and 900. The same two marksmen were on top with 42 each. The trophy competition will be completed next Saturday at 500 and 600 yards.
