Alleging that her property had been seriously aiieeted by the overflow of storm and surface water from the Ohiro Home, Catherine Ann Evans, spinster, of 75, Epuni street, proceeded against the Wellington Hospital Board in the Supreme Court to-day, claiming £161 17s Gd damages and an injunction to prevent future damage by any of the drains on the board's property. After Mr. W. Heine (counsel for the plaintiff) had opened his case, the Chief Justice (the Hon. M. Myers) suggested that counsel for both parties should endeavour to arrange, a settlement. This course was agreed upon, and a settlement was subsequently arranged. Mr. W. F. Ward acted for the board.
