AUSTRALIAN GAS LIGHT ISSUE.
• The-issue of £1,500,000 6%.per cent, debentures by the Australian Gas- Light Company has been oversubscribed. The issue was underwritten by the Bank of New-South Wales.. Subscribers had the option of six or ten years' currency Of the proceeds £950,000 has been earmarked for repayment of debentures maturing on Ist next, and the balance is to be. utilised for extensions of the undertaking.
