Patrons of boxing may consider themselves fortunate through the progressive policy of the local association In being given an opportunity of seeing such a well-known exponent as Pete Sarron In action. Among the world's featherweights the American ranks very close to the top. Jack Jones will be making his first appearance on Monday night. He comes with an excellent record and with some advantage In weight, to_ say the least, the American will be on his mettle to secure a victory.. The box plan is to open to-morrow morning, and the attention of patrons Is directed to the association's system of preferential booking, whereby the holders of reserved seats for Monday's tournament will be permitted to retain the same seats for Sarron's next atroearance against Billy.
