HOOVER AND MACDONALD

KUGBY, 11th June. General Dawes, the newly-appointed United States Ambassador to Britain, is,due to arrive iv London to-morrow, and it is reported .that he will extend an invitation from President Hoover to Mr, Eamsay MacDonaia to visit the
United States in the' autunin. It is known that Mr. Baldwin, lia'd he continued in office as Prime Minister, intended to pay a personal visit to the President of . the /United States this year, ■ and it is considered likely, that Mr. Mao Donald may decide to make the journey. If the project is. carried out, the Prime Minister will probably go 'to the United States after the House of Commons adjourns in July and, before it reassembles towards the end of October. ;■
