WHAT INVESTIGATION HAS
REVEALED.

The "Daily News" Dublin correspondent says investigations in connection with the armed raids revealed the underground existence of a most highlyorganised self-governing Republican army, not . owing ailegianco to any party, with most extensive ramifications. The average citizen does not know whether his neighbour is a member of this organisation. Recently a .well-dressed Dublin girl was convicted of conspiring to maintain this army. The same day two men and a daughter of Count Plunkett were convicted of conspiring to attack money-lenders under tho army's orderß. Those arrested include . the : chairman of the Cork County branch of the Gaelic Athletic Association, also a champion hurdler.
