KING'S CONGBATULATIONS.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, 23rd November. The Governor-General has received for publication the following message from Hia Majesty the King:—"l have learnt, with much interest, that the new cable across the Pacific is open to-day. I welcome this addition to the facilities for rapid communication which are so essential, not only for the advancement of material prosperity of the peoples, but also for. the promotion of mutual good understanding, between them."
